BobK, suggest reading... "commodity trading for dummies'..

Lind Waldlock (a brokerage firm), has a learning course (free)......

not much you can do with $1500............ except probably lose it.....

not suggesting anything, except to educate yourself, then start small.....

whether its stocks or commodities........... with stocks, its longer term, commodities are faster.........

stocks take more money......... most associate stocks with investing and commodities with trading.......

logic dictates that one starts off investing in mutual funds moves on to stocks and then takes some specultive money and looks at options or futures. lots of sites with good ideas. jim cramers show gets to much play and stocks tendto gap up when he reccomends. go to his site the street.com lots of ideas all day long. just readfor awhile and see why people like stock a or b or which mutual fund they like and why. its like going to school guys takes time and lots of reading. slow and steady usually comes out on top. gamble here invet there. regards heart222-bobk
